What is Iqora?[]
Iqora is a constitutional Monarchy, that means the powers of each figure in our government are defined by the constituion.
The government consists of three branches: The Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial.
Iqora's Constitution[]
The constitution is a set of basic rules that determine how Iqora is run. It defines the powers and duties of the government and guarantees certain rights to the people of Iqora.

The Konungr[]
The Konungr is the King of Iqora. Who works towards the grand vision for Iqora.
Trivaldi[]
The Trivaldi choosen by the Konungr acts as the right hand of the Konungr.
Há Skjaldra[]
The High Councilors, also known as the Há Skjaldrians, are important members of the executive branch. The Há Skjaldra may play a role in amending the constitution and approving or ratifying certain laws or decrees. They advise the governing authority and participate in decision-making processes.
Hersir[]
A Hersir position is a ministry in our country that focuses on a specific area where you can work.
There are 8 different types of Hersir positions to choose from.:
§ 1 The Gothi is responsible for overseeing religious affairs within the nation, preserving and promoting the spiritual and moral values of the society, and providing guidance and counsel on matters of faith.
§ 2 The Vígda is tasked with safeguarding the nation's security and sovereignty. They oversee the armed forces, develop defense policies, and ensure the protection of the nation from external threats.
§ 3 The Húsbyggja is in charge of infrastructure development and urban planning. Their responsibilities include overseeing construction projects, maintaining public facilities, and promoting development.
§ 4 The Eldrimir acts as the speaker of the nation and speaks through the Trivaldi and Konungr.
§ 5 The Vanrún acts as the master bard, recovering ancient culture and history, and organizing specific events, national festivals and rituals. They are responsible for preserving and promoting the nation's cultural heritage, supporting the arts, cultural events, and heritage preservation while encouraging cultural exchange and diversity.
§ 6 The Féstjóri manages the financial and economic affairs of the country. This includes budget planning, trade policy, economic development, treasury management and distribution of the contents of the treasury after approval by the Konungr.
§ 7 The Fölknýr is responsible for the recruitment of new Citizens and the management of Citizens. This person will find ways to further improve our advertising and attractiveness as a country. This person will also be responsible for citizen development.
§ 8 The Lögmadr acts as the high judge, enforcing the constitution and administering the Supreme Court of Iqora. They are in charge of the legal system and judicial affairs, working to uphold the rule of law, administer justice, and protect the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Jotunn[]
The Jotunn is Iqora's parliament, where its members make the laws of Iqora, revising and enforcing the constitution and passing laws by majority vote.
Procedure for Jotunn Election[]
During election season, parties start their campaigns to recruit members and candidates for election. Then, they hold external elections, where the percentage of votes determines the party's seats in parliament. Internal party elections also take place, allowing members to vote for their preferred candidates. Finally, candidates are selected within the parties based on a ranking system.

Q: How are the Trivaldi and military officers appointed?
A: The Second In Command or Trivaldi is elected by the Konungr. Suitable individuals for the Hersir positions are selected by the Second In Command and then approved by the Konungr. The Konungr also officially appoints civil servants and military officers.

A: You can have the chance to be considered for one of our Hersir positions by applying via the Goverment Application form: https://forms.gle/GbsPFGqFy71sqNEL7. If your application is successful, the leadership will test your skills and interview you, asking questions such as why you applied, your goals, why you think you would fit in, etc.
