Pre-Ramble[]
FortMongrel, founded and led by minigunmustang is a land in the SW of Atlas. It has had alot of history and in this page, all of that shall be written down.
The fort is a monarchy with minigunmustang as it's leader/king.

History[]
The Beginning[]
The history of FortMongrel starts with one man, minigunmustang. Mini as we will call him, joined Santoria and had a goal to make a land. After reaching out to Turtlelaw at Erebor, he was invited to join an Ereborian colony, Port_mongrel. There, minigunmustang met the leader, but soon it was evident the land was not for him. Faced with a difficult decision. Mini decided to leave Port_mongrel and make a new colony of Erebor, called FortMongrel. It was named FortMongrel due to the fact that Mini wished to make a fort on a hill inbetween Erebor and Port_Mongrel, and because he wanted to make a Mongrel region.
The fort was created on a small hill, and Mini, after fishing for the money, made the land. For a few days, Mini built the first walls himself and finished the starter land. It was around that time that Erebor, joined a nation called Kiritash. FortMongrel, being a colony, also joined.
Growing[]
After joining Kiritash, a player by the name of Tenzilington encouraged Mini to recruit people... and so the first citizens of FortMongrel joined. Some notable names would be: CheeseMcGee, Jasnotyours, CubsCats and TheY3yuGuy. Mini, with these people quickly appointed each do different tasks. CheeseMcGee, the first citizen of FortMongrel was made second in command and head fisher, jasnotyours, recognised for her quick wit, was promoted to head of military, CubsCats, the best builder, was promoted to Head Builder. TheY3yuGuy, recognised for his grind, was promoted to head miner.
With these new people, FortMongrel was growing rapidly, with over 10 members and 30 chunks. CubsCats, devised a vision for
Betrayal[]
Some new citizens joined, one called GalacticXZ joined with his two friends: EL_ONLY_CHAPA, and Brian, these people, were nice at the start, However, after the initial keep was constructed. (Thanks to CubsCats) They raided the treasury, stealing two stacks of diamonds and many other valuables. They then left the fort and ran away. However, Minigun, using his detective skills, found out who it was, He then launched an attack party on them and got the stuff back.
The Golden Age[]
The golden age of FortMongrel was the best. People flocked to the fort, it was never raided, however, it was always active. It was at this time, FortMongrel decided to leave Erebor. Erebor was starting to leave Kiritash and FortMongrel had a hard choice, choosing to stay with Kiritash and leave Erebor, This proved to be a wise decision as Erebor became inactive shortly after.
With FortMongrel at over 20 members, and over 40 chunks, things were going great, an election was held. CubsCats won the election and was promoted second in command. People started to realise that FortMongrel existed. Mini, their leader was content and started to dip their toes in politics and lore.
The Great Depression[]
CubsCats, after finishing the keep for the fort, left the server indefinetly. However, as one last act he found a player named DMachineBuilder (Dino for short) Who would take over him building. Mini, heavily saddened by this news, left the server for around a week to take a break. Upon return, Mini was amazed at the progress completed. The fort was done, Dino had spent hours upon hours building the walls and the rest of the fort, until it was basically a mega build. But, the constant progression had left the fort broke. Completely and utterly broke.
Out of resources and money, alot of citizens started to not play. This caused Mini to make the forced fishing rule. This decimated the fort. In less then a month, the active land with 30 members crashed. Defeat upon his hands, Mini attempted to change the governement system, to no avail, At this time, due to his quick rise to power, Mini was promoted to advisor in Kiritash.
Revival[]
Mini, realising oneday, that all he wanted was to have a poweful land, revived the land. Through many hours he recruited new players, many people like Kays_5 joined. Before you could bat an eye the fort was at 40 members. Climbing to around 45 at the peek the fort absolutely flourished. It was at this time, that FortMongrel launched its first colony, PortMongrel, lead by Trisy135, a dedicated member. FortMongrel also expanded outwards towards the south of the fort. Starting Mongrel village.
Yet, it all felt fake, FortMongrel, now with serious traction was gunning forward. But Mini wasnt happy
The Purge[]
Mini, ashamed of how FortMongrel was, kicked all inactive members. This bought the fort back alot. Of course, it only made the fort worse and worse and soon Mini was ready to quit.
He has made too many poor choices and almost finished with Santoria.
However, upon talking to some people, he decided to give it one last chance. And so Mini stopped changing the fort, he left it sit for a while and player fluently, even creating the nation Mongrelia.
The Second Golden Age[]
By some miracle, the fort became alive again, their player count reached 40 and Mini worked on building houses.
It was here, Mini reached out to a fellow Santoria player, MattailPotente. He proposed a nation made with FortMongrel and OWE. Later Mattail named it UFO, but that is not FortMongrels story.
The Government[]
The government of FortMongrel is a monarchy.
